"Untapped" Youth Action Showcase - May 7th, 2024 @ the NAC
"Untapped" Youth Action Showcase: an event to highlight the meaningful work youth are doing to create community projects. This year, the OCSB SEP - in partnership with Youth Ottawa - will participate by sending several SEP representatives to the event on May 7th. Location the National Arts Centre (NAC).

UPDATE:
We are expecting around 500+ students from Elementary to High School including 150+ students from the OCSB Social Entrepreneurs Program
Students will have tables setup and will be describing their businesses and many will be selling their products

Community leaders are invited to attend between 11-1pm on Tuesday, May 7th
Should be a great event with lots of attention on the great work students and educators have been doing in schools and the community.
Untapped Youth Ottawa Showcase 2023 at City Hall
Last year the event was held at City Hall (click this link) and had an incredible turnout with over 300 youth, teachers, and community leaders.
The energy was palpable at City Hall and every group was clearly passionate about their project. Sounds of talking and laughter were heard all throughout City Hall and attracted even more people to check it out!
Youth were certainly entrepreneurial and we had an amazing time learning about their businesses and products. Among some of the highlights were self-care subscription boxes, backpack strap pads, handmade jewelry, and a video game!
